Our History

Lenoir County Learning Academy is the alternative school for Lenoir County Public Schools. Our school is located on the historic Kennedy Home campus and serves students in grades 6-12 from all areas of Lenoir County. Lenoir County Learning Academy opened under that name during the 2013-2014 school year after moving from its former location at Sampson School.
